JOB PURPOSE

To Monitor and Control all program/project activities in alignment with PM&D’s strategy and with the defined project governance framework and defined procedures.

JOB TECHNICAL ACCOUNTIBLITES

  • Monitor the day-to-day administrative activities and control the workload of the project.
  • Monitor programs and projects to track performance and accuracy against defined schedules, plans, and budgets, and ensure the provision of services related to contracts management, document control, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor and review the development of new project schedules and cost/ budget inputs prepared by project associates and own the quality and accuracy of the output.
  • Monitor pilot/new system implementation across regions validating the robustness and viability of these systems.
  • Develop periodic reports to relevant stakeholders upon request and highlight areas of improvement in order to support in decision-making.
  • Establish effective controls related to project performance measurement, evaluation, and intervention where needed.
  • Monitor and control effective communication mechanisms between the project teams.
  • Monitor and control program and project documentation and document control including the project management, technical documentation, and documentation of contracts and relevant legal agreements and ensure timely archiving of all programs-related documentation.
  • Manage and review site change order requests and variation orders, in accordance with the defined project governance framework and defined procedures.
  • Review project documents including project charter, budget, resource plan, reports, and schedules.
  • Monitor and review report templates and dashboards that would adequately convey the needed information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all program/project activities remain within budget with minimal risks and report on progress while escalating issues to relevant functions for corrective actions.
  • Provide EPMO commentary/ assurance over program/ project status reports.
  • Monitor program/project overall progress through program/project assessment activities.
  • Monitor program/project risk/issue register to ensure that all risks have a nominated owner and actioners, agreed actions are on track, and to ensure the agreed actions are on track.
  • Monitor and ensure that all project-related data is captured and recorded.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor in Bachelor - Engineering

Knowledge & Experience

4 - 6 years of relevant experience
