JOB PURPOSE

To establish sustainable procurement procedures, analyze local content and carbon emissions, partner with suppliers to implement climate-related initiatives, integrate local content and carbon reduction into procurement operations, and guarantee adherence to sustainability goals and reporting criteria.

 

JOB TECHNICAL ACCOUNTIBLITES

Local Content & Sustainability & Carbon Emissions Analysis

  • Participate in evaluating local content and carbon emissions within Shared Services, aligning with Tahakom's objectives.
  • Assess Tahakom’s vendors and spending to ensure they meet the carbon emissions and local content standards.
  • Prepare and communicate local content and climate requirements clearly to all teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify, develop, and implement opportunities related to local content and climate initiatives.
  • Establish methods to incorporate local content and carbon emissions reduction into procurement processes and policies.
  • Ensure that all local content requirements are fulfilled throughout sourcing, purchasing and supplier management activities.
  • Aid in developing the local content and carbon emissions monitoring system, to report incl. reporting processes and KPI’s in alignment with relevant process owners.
  • Aid in developing a monitoring system for local content and carbon emissions reporting, including processes and key performance indicators (KPIs), in alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish sustainable procurement methodologies to cascade sustainability strategy into category strategies and sourcing events.
  • Help to drive and continually improve suppliers’ climate-related performance and meet targets across key sustainability themes.
  • Maintain and update all the required reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly.

  • Adhere to risk management rules and regulations in the delivery of own work to always ensure compliance.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or equivalent is required
